What the research says about CBG

CBG (cannabigerol) is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that brands add for a brighter feel. The human evidence is early. In the first placebo-controlled trial, 34 experienced cannabis users took 20mg of CBG or a placebo. They reported less anxiety for up to an hour and less stress at the 20-minute mark, but the study found no significant change in mood (Washington State University, 2024). Most drinks here carry 10mg of CBG, half the trial dose. That is why we describe them by how drinkers and brands say they feel, not as a treatment for anything. Pacing
