THC Espresso Martini

≈10.0mg THC per drink · 21+ only · Start low, go slow

Espresso, sugar, spirit, and a hard shake for the crema. Brunch's best argument.

THC espresso martini in a coupe glass with a crema top and espresso beans, standing on a bed of coffee beans against a pink backdrop

The short version

Shake 2 oz FLORA 10mg Spirit with 1 oz fresh espresso and 3/4 oz simple syrup, then strain into a chilled coupe and float three espresso beans. 10mg THC, about 45 calories.

The crema is not an optional flourish — it is the whole reason this drink looks the way it does, and it comes from the oils in freshly pulled espresso being emulsified by a hard shake. Use espresso that has been sitting in a pot for an hour and you will get a flat brown drink. Pull it fresh, let it cool for a minute so it doesn't melt all your ice, then shake like you mean it.

Worth saying out loud: the caffeine and the 10mg pull in opposite directions.
